Description

The front is exceptionally ornate, with sweeping Rococo scrollwork, floral garlands, basket and bouquet motifs, ribbon-like ornament, and richly carved gilt accents covering nearly the entire façade. The curved bombé body gives the piece its strong sculptural presence, while the cabriole-style legs continue the same elaborate floral detailing down to the feet.
