Description
Venus
In Roman mythology, Venus was the goddess of love, beauty, grace, and prosperity. Inspired by the Greek goddess Aphrodite, she became one of the most celebrated female figures in classical art. Her image was later revived throughout European Neoclassical interiors as a symbol of elegance, refinement, and timeless beauty.
Diana
Diana was the Roman goddess of the moon, nature, and the hunt, admired for her independence, strength, and purity. Often depicted as a graceful young woman, she became an important subject in classical and later European decorative art, representing both feminine beauty and strength.
Together, Venus and Diana create a beautiful contrast: Venus representing love and beauty, and Diana representing strength and independence.
